Fitness studio booking portal
A local fitness studio
A web platform where a fitness studio's members book classes, manage their membership and pay online, replacing a manual process that ran through WhatsApp and spreadsheets. I am designing and building it on my own, and it is still in progress.

The problem
The studio handled bookings, memberships and payments by hand, through WhatsApp messages and spreadsheets.
What I am building
A member side and a staff side over one API. Members see the class schedule, book through a booking flow, and manage their membership from a dashboard. The front end is Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, and it works on phones as well as it does on a desktop.
Behind it, a REST API in Node.js with PostgreSQL and Prisma handles authentication, role-based access and the booking logic, including waitlists. Stripe takes both subscriptions and one-off payments, and members get automated email reminders. Staff manage classes, instructors and attendance from an admin panel.
It deploys on Vercel, with CI/CD through GitHub Actions.
