Working With me.
I build websites and web apps for businesses, and add data and AI features when they actually help.
If you have something you need built, or a site that is not doing its job, this page explains what I do and how a project runs. I am based between Casablanca and Berlin, and I work in Arabic, French and English.
Services
What I can Build.
-
A website
A business that needs to exist properly online, or whose current site is old.
Every page written and built, working properly on phones, set up so Google can find you, in as many languages as your customers speak. Launched on your own domain.
Something similar a Moroccan restaurant, in three languages
-
A web app or client portal
When customers or staff need to log in and do something, not just read.
Accounts and logins, the screens people actually work in, and control over who can see what. Built against a preview link you can try at any point.
Something similar a booking and membership portal for a fitness studio
-
A dashboard or internal tool
When the numbers you run on live in spreadsheets, or in three systems that disagree.
Your data pulled together and cleaned, the figures that matter on one screen, and the weekly report produced automatically instead of by hand.
Something similar a sales forecast used for weekly inventory planning
-
An AI or data feature
Added to something you already have, when it saves real work.
A chatbot that answers from your own documents, automatic written summaries, categorising or flagging records that would otherwise be read one by one. I will tell you when the answer is that you do not need AI for this.
Something similar a support assistant handling a third of routine tickets
-
A redesign, a fix, or ongoing help
An existing site that is slow, broken, hard to change, or simply dated.
Working out what is wrong, agreeing what is worth doing, and doing it. Or a standing arrangement for changes as you need them.
Something similar a rebuilt online store that loads about 40% faster
Every project is different, so I quote after a short call rather than publishing a price list. The quote is a fixed figure in writing, not an hourly rate that grows.
Process
How a project Goes.
- 1
A short call
Twenty minutes or so, to understand what you are trying to achieve and whether I am the right person for it. Free, and there is no pitch at the end.
- 2
A written proposal
What I will build, what it will cost, and when it will be finished. In writing, so there is nothing to remember differently later.
- 3
Design and build
You get a live link from early on, and it updates as I work. You can look whenever you like and tell me when something is not what you meant.
- 4
Launch
Your domain, hosting set up, and visitor statistics if you want them. I handle the technical side of going live.
- 5
Support afterwards
A period after launch where anything broken gets fixed without a new invoice. We agree how long when we agree the proposal.
Questions
Things clients Ask.
How long does a project take?
A small website is usually a few weeks. An application with logins and several screens is longer, and the proposal will say how long before you commit to anything. If a date matters to you, say so on the call, because it changes what I would suggest building first.
What do you need from me?
Your text and images if you have them, or a conversation so I can write the text with you if you do not. Access to your domain if you already own one. Then roughly one round of feedback a week while it is being built.
Who owns the code and the site?
You do, once the project is paid for. The domain stays in your name, the hosting account is yours, and you can take the code to another developer at any time. I do not hold anything hostage.
What does the hosting cost?
For most sites I build, effectively nothing. They are hosted on Cloudflare, whose free tier covers a normal business site comfortably. You pay for your domain name, which is usually somewhere around ten to fifteen euros a year. Applications with a database cost more, and the proposal will say how much.
Can I change things after launch?
Yes. Anything broken is fixed during the support period at no cost. New things you want added afterwards are quoted separately, or handled through a standing arrangement if you would rather not get a quote each time.
I am not in Morocco. Can we still work together?
Yes. I split my time between Casablanca and Berlin and work with clients remotely. I work in Arabic, French and English. Calls get scheduled around whatever time zone you are in.
